Fields at Laneshawbridge
Parking at Laneshawbridge, Karen and I walked over the fields to Wycoller. Recently a fence has appeared along with hundreds of young trees, complete with their green tubes.
Drifting Snow
Last week, Wycoller was cut off by the drifting snow. It never threatened to match the Siege of Leningrad, but when even the 4x4 gang can't move, then you've got problems.
Deer (Obviously)
Tubular Belles, a few of these were hiding amoung the green tubes of Wycoller.
Wycoller Tearooms
Pie and Peas. They have a new website which clearly states that they don't open on Mondays. So I rang them up and they confirmed that they were open today, very much a Monday. The old website said that they did open on Bank Holidays; change isn't always for the best.

Wycoller Beck
I wish I'd visited just after the snowfall of last weekend. One week later and the drift still bridges across the beck, the water flowing freely beneath the snow.
