~The Ratmobile!~
from 6th June 2007 ...
Self-indulgence, I'm afraid. Look around and see how many dull or dirty cars there are out there. Too many are grey or "silver". I decided that I wanted a car that was red and shiny and could accompany me on my jaunts to country locations. The Ratmobile is such a car.....

Current Valuation: £4,500, low mileage: 40,100 at September 25, 2010
Care: Always garaged at night, when at home. Washed weekly and polished at least monthly.
Servicing: CBS Autos, Nelson, Lancs; specialising in MX-5's.
Is it for me? Seats just 2, carries minimal amount of luggage. Blows hair about when the top is down, author is unaffected. Goes fast, but always within the legal limits.
