The Promise of a fine Sunset |
Blue Sky! |
Starting from the roadside at 20:00hrs, this seemed too good an opportunity to miss.
Black Moss
Looking across to Nelson and and Colne, I was trying to match clouds and their shadows. It's a game anyone can play!
Sunset View
The Plateau
After more heavy rain, puddles are settling where usually it's dry. Summit ahead.
Pendle Summit
It's not very warm, but that is of no concern today. Blue is the new Gold! Go out and find some Blue!
Summer Sunset
Looking to the west and it looks as though I got the timing right. Much later and the sun might be behind the clouds.

Walkers: Just Me.
Time taken: 1hr 13mins over a distance of about 2.5 miles.
Route: Roadside, up the steps, summit and down the track.
Weather and conditions: Cool and clear.
Greetings Count: Two walkers overtook me on the steps, that's a little unusual! A few others on the top, a great night for a walk.
Richard's Refreshment Review: Not today.
Take me back to the start ....
