A quick return to Grassington. Sometimes the agony of choice within the one hour driving radius from home, on a sunny day like this, is quite painful. So, to ease the pain, we head back to where we left off last Sunday and an alternative walk in the Grassington area.

Into Grass Wood
The walk through Grass Wood is wonderful. It is one of the largest areas of broadleaved woodland in the Dales. Many of the trees are ash and must therefore be under threat from the "die-back" fungus.
Kilnsey Crag
Kilnsey Crag is visible (left of centre) on this view up Wharfedale; Great Whernside is furthest away to the right. Out of the wood, along the road a short distance and then down to the river bank.
