~Molly's First Walk!~

The Long Wait
Molly joined us, aged 9 weeks and we have all had to wait for the two jabs and a fortnight after the latter - fully four and a bit weeks after she arrived, she can venture out and begin a great adventure. Where better than Wycoller Country Park?
Car Cage
Molly has three cages; one for the car, one for bedtime (and to calm down!) and one spare.
It's not so easy to take a photo of your own dog on the lead, so I looped it over the fence post and asked her to sit still. No chance! The sheep on the right caught her attention and we are at the start of a long learning experience.
Water
No problems with the water, she just walked across the ford without a second thought. The pack-horse bridge has been here, in one state or another, for 700 years, a little corner of East Lancashire that has stood the test of time.

Sheep |
Well, we had an hour to spare, so we walked around a few paths and a bumped into some folk and their dogs, Molly is quite nervous of other dogs and needs a little time to get used them.
Nuthatch
I saw a bird fly out of the hole in the tree and awaited her return; then soon enough she came out again.

In The Water
We took tea at the cafe, sitting outside. Dogs are allowed inside, but I wasn't sure about some of her social skills, so decided not to take the chance. This short walk proved quite tiring for her, we'll have to take it easy ....
Not all dog walks will be published, thank heavens!
