Early Morning at Towneley Park
It's Christmas Day again, Molly and I head for Towneley Park to take advantage of some seasonal goodwill - free parking (assuming the park rangers are also on holiday!).

Our Christmas Pendle walk started from the roadside at 10:40hrs.

The local weather is declining with cloud moving in - showers have been forecast.
Pendle Greetings
Our party is trumped by the earlier arrival of a goup of runners in carrying various amounts of fancy dress. Father Christmas "photobombs" our special moment! Matthew, Libby, Peter, Andrew, Molly, myself and Gary make up our group.
An hour and fifteen minutes on this traditional hunger-generating hike up the local fell. A rain shower late on as the skies remained dark forr the rest of Christmas Day.
