After The Rain
Pendle Hill has had a wash. It started raining last Friday (15th) and stopped sometime on Monday (18th). The sun came out on Thursday and now on Friday 22nd, I'm back on the slopes. Mist rises off Lower Ogden Reservoir, a hint of rainbow further away.
Up The Steps
I overtook two young men. At first I thought they were carrying cans of beer, but it turned out they were energy drinks.
Thieveley Pike
On the other side of Burnley, the rainbow heads south and sits over the truncated spurs of Thieveley Pike, Burnley's best example of the post-glacial landscape.
Yorkshire Peaks

North-Western Skies
South-Western Skies
The camera doesn't show it, but I could just make out the mountains of Snowdonia.

Over Bowland Fells
Could the bump furthest away be Black Combe, just to the north of Barrow-In-Furness?
