Pendle Trig Point
There is nothing going on. I'm not quite ready to give up my once a week jaunts up Pendle Hill, but it is becomming a bit of battle against the clock and the weather. Yesterday was a much better day, but...I was enlisted to play 6-a-side with son, Gary and his team. This was the first occasion I've played competitive football for quite some time and it transpires that my legs don't run as fast they used to. We lost.
Walkers: Just Me
Time taken: 58 mins over a distance of about 2.5 miles.
Route: Roadside parking, up the steps, along the top and down the track.
Weather and conditions: Gloomy and windy.
Greetings Count: A cyclist emerged from the gloom and passed me on the summit.
