Pendle Summit
Scroll down for photos and a description of the walk....
Pendle House
The last week before BST ends; start time is 17:06hrs and this view from the foot of the steps shows Pendle House and a couple of walkers who had just climbed Pendle Hill for the first time. They were from Southampton and I'm quite sure this was not a day trip.
Black Moss Reservoirs
There's not much wind about this evening and the lower reservoir offers clear reflections.
Pendle Stile
Could be one of the better sunset walks....
Pendle Sunset
The Ribble Estuary is illuminated by the sunlight.

Walkers: Just Me
Time taken: 1 hour 9 mins over a distance of about 2.5 miles.
Route: Roadside parking, up the steps, along the top and down the track.
Weather and conditions: Sunny, calm - excellent conditions for the walk.
Greetings Count: The two Sotonians, plus a couple of regulars and then a few others on the way up as I was descending. Pity those who could not get there in time for the sunset views.
Take me back to the start ....
