Pendle Hill
I thought it was only fair on Karen that I got out of the way and let her get on with cooking Christmas Lunch. Too many cooks and all that! Peter Ratcliffe and son, Gary also felt the same way. All photos taken on the wrong setting!!
Up The Steps
We are not alone, lots of other mad fools about.
The Summit Plateau
It is raining and very windy, not ideal.

Bleak!
American Akitas
Apeitites built up for the annual feast! Clutching at straws as day after day of poor weather are behind and in front of us.
Merry Christmas everyone and best wishes for 2012. Last year in the same place: December 25th 2010
Young Matthew (nearly six) came round for Christmas Lunch, with his mum, and I greeted him warmly and asked him "What day is it today, Matthew?" and he calmly replied "Sunday".
Walkers: Peter Ratcliffe, Gary Ratcliffe and me.
Time taken: 1hr 4 mins over a distance of about 2.5 miles.
Route: Roadside, up the steps, along to the top and then down the track.
Weather and conditions: Very windy, wet on top.
Greetings Count: A good number of other folk making room in the kitchen for the cooks.
Richard's Refreshment Review: Very tasty Christmas Dinner at the Ratcliffe's.
Take me back to the start ....
